What is the Hertz Fellowship?

In his later years, he donated his fortune to establish a scholarship fund for engineers. In 1963, the Hertz Foundation began offering fellowships to students in the US who committed to making their skills available during national emergencies.

Recipients receive up to 5 years of funding for their education plus a stipend that caps at $250,000.
