The Palmer Family Healthcare Education Scholarship Fund offers at least $1,500 to LGBTQ+ and allied healthcare students. To qualify, you must reside in or plan to attend school in one of the following counties: Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sierra, Solano, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tuolumne, Yolo, and Yuba.

Yes! But make sure to read each scholarship application's essay guidelines and requirements, and personalize your essay to each scholarship you apply to. Using the same essay for multiple applications can be a time-saver, but changing just a sentence or two can make a difference!
