Overview

The AICPA Minority Scholarship award up to $10,000 to outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as a major and their ultimate entry into the profession. Applicant must be a legal minority U.S. citizen who is a full-time student interested in becoming a licensed CPA professional. Completing at least 30 semester hours, minimum 3.0 GPA, financial need, and AICPA student affiliate membership required.

How do I know if I meet the requirements for a scholarship?

Each scholarship has a set of requirements: specific factors that determine whether or not you're eligible to apply. How do I increase my chances of getting a scholarship?

Can I use the same essay for multiple scholarship applications?

Yes! But make sure to read each scholarship application's essay guidelines and requirements, and personalize your essay to each scholarship you apply to. Using the same essay for multiple applications can be a time-saver, but changing just a sentence or two can make a difference!
